Allen Froese – biography

If there is one thing that defines Allen it is his passionate faith and continuous pursuit of God. His first solo worship project, Faith Inside, reflects his desire to honor God with his life and with his gifts.

Allen says, "The reason I chose the title "faith inside" is because everything in the Christian walk starts with faith. Our approach to God, our salvation, and our daily living all require us to possess faith inside of us. That faith is birthed and perfected by God and hence why I penned, 'My God, You are faith inside me...' in the lyrics from my song 'I Have Nothing To Fear.'"

In recent years, Allen's faith and trust in the Lord has been tested through both calm and turbulent seasons. He says, "On numerous occasions I had forgotten how truly great and powerful God is and had allowed circumstances to become overwhelming. It was only when I allowed the Lord to examine my heart that I heard the piercing and yet loving tone of His voice say, 'you of little faith.' With those words I became immediately convicted. I had to come to the realization that if God is not who He says that He is that I would fall flat on my face. The truth is that God is who He says He is and we must believe Him at His word. I have learned to trust Him and know He will never let us fall if we will hold onto our faith in Him. As Hebrews 11:1 states, 'Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.' (NIV) We must remain sure of who God is and certain of His promises to us. He will never leave or forsake us and if He is for us who can stand against us? God is calling us, His church, to arise with great faith in order please Him and to reach this world for Christ."

Allen has made it his ambition to actively study the nature and attributes of God found in scripture in order to know and trust Him more and to more effectively inspire others towards greater faith in the Lord. This constant endeavor is reflected in the way that Allen creates his music.

Faith Inside contains 12 fresh worship songs for a generation of faith filled worshippers. Not only are these songs well crafted, and fused with the modern sounds of pop and rock and great hooks, but each of them were birthed out of experience and revelation from God's word. As a result, they contain depth, going beyond the surface and pulling on the heart strings of the listener while conveying solid biblical theology. The melodies are strong and memorable and the songs are easy to sing making them a great resource for the worshipping church. Themes on the album include everything from the greatness and glory of God to Christ's sacrifice on the cross, revival, true worship, waiting on God, and of course, faith!

Allen has been equipping worshippers, leading worship, and writing songs for over a decade. He has led worship experiences and has conducted worship seminars throughout North America and internationally. He has a passion to see people encounter God in worship and to help them articulate their devotion to God through the songs he writes. He plans to continue crafting worship songs that convey biblical truth while making the songs accessible to the church as a resource. Allen remains dedicated in encouraging and equipping people with building their lives and local church worship ministries with excellence.

His approach to worship is influenced by these principles he has learned from veteran worship leaders: Integrity – a commitment to living a holy life that is pleasing to God and being authentic and open with God in worship; Accessibility – to lead worship in a way that encourages participation; Intimacy – to help people connect with God in a deep and personal way; Prophetically – to lead in the anointing of the Holy Spirit being sensitive to where God directs the worship service.

Allen is married with four children.
